Kara has been an active contributor to charitable organisations and not-for-profits across the Waiheke community since 2015. With a deep passion for the arts, particularly scriptwriting and improvisational theatre, they combine creative vision with strong management and project delivery skills. Kara is committed to supporting Artworks Theatre as a vibrant space where community can grow, create, engage and thrive. With a special focus on rangatahi, they are dedicated to fostering opportunities for Waiheke youth to express themselves, build confidence, and discover who they are. They believe community theatre plays a vital role in strengthening social cohesion and supporting the health and wellbeing of society.
