Join award-winning Te Tiriti duo Aro for an intimate whānau friendly concert experience celebrating their newest album, Tāwauwau. Blending bilingual waiata, rich storytelling, and soulful live performance, Aro share the personal stories, reflections and dreams woven throughout the album - from wonder and imagination to the deeper realities of life, whānau and faith.
Created while travelling Aotearoa with their tamariki, Tāwauwau invites listeners into a contemplative and hope-filled world where music, story, and connection meet.
The super talented Kāren Hunter will open the evening of music. Kāren's main instruments are guitar, mandolin and voice and she also plays flute, charango and various world percussion instruments.
