After the hit of Artworks Theatre's SOLO Festival in August, we're back with yet another set of locally written, produced and performed plays - Short Play Festival! This time, groups will be taking to the stage to bring to life local plays and stories. With each play running between 10-20 minutes, you'll be treated to a diverse cast of talented locals sharing stories across a wide range of genres and styles.
"What I felt, what I heard" starring Lisa Garrity, Linda Savage and Tamara Androsoff. "Man Vs Bear", written and directed by Kara Veugelers and starring Micky Old, Nadi Halberg and Kara Veugelers.
"Wishing Whales" written by Osher River Oriyah, starring Anna Hankel, Paula Scortichini, Aliyah Epiha, Guy Seaman and Osher River Oriyah.
"To love is to let go", written and directed by Issy Ciano and Elsa Gibberd, also starring Issy, Elsa, Lucy Edwards-Harris and Nate Mansfield.
"Office Politics", written and directed by Shirin Brown and starring Nââwíe Tutugoro, Katherine Kearsley and Roger Mason.
"The Curious Case of June O'Hara", co-directed by Koro Sciascia and Jonn Brazier, starring Koro Sciascia, Simon Havas, Cian Jones and Steffen Hoffman Come along and support local theatre in our final theatre festival of 2024!
