andrew-white-photo-cropAndrew White is a troubadour: one of those rare artists who can skilfully combine brilliant finger-style guitar work with a compelling story in lyric – and deliver them both in an engaging live performance.

Be blown away by Andrew’s NZ tour to showcase material from his forthcoming albums – Beautiful Trouble (out in March) and a new instrumental guitar album, Guitarra Celtica Volume II (later this year) – as well as selections from his back catalogue of thirteen albums.

With nearly three decades of touring, performing and recording, Andrew’s music has been described as a road map of the experiences of a musical life coupled with guitar technique that has left thousands of people breathless.  No stranger to the NZ music circuit, he is delighted to be touring and sharing his new songs and compositions with old and new fans alike. Andrew’s travels are well documented in his storytelling that is emotionally delivered in reggae, blues, folk and pop genres. Andrew’s deep connection with his audience leaves them awed by his virtuosity on the guitar and the truth in his lyrics. He delivers every time.

Originally hailing from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne in England, guitarist and songwriter Andrew White has called NZ home since his parents immigrated when he was just a boy. Andrew’s musical journey began at age 16, busking in the streets of Auckland. He quickly earned the reputation as one of the country’s most highly acclaimed acoustic guitarists. Never sitting anywhere for long, Andrew has achieved many successes as a touring artist, performing sold-out shows in Canada, US, UK, Ireland and Australia. He has recorded 14 albums and is one of the most flourishing artists on acoustic US label Candyrat Records. His tantalizing stories, songs and breath-taking melodies forever insure that audiences walk away captivated. With over one million albums sold to date, we love that this man of story and song calls New Zealand his home.
